Experiments and excercises

Greetings all, I finally got hold of a camera to take some more pictures and first off is a figure I threw together to play with how I want to do the lasguns for my upcoming Ruus regiment. The lasgun is actually really simple to convert using the standard lasgun. Start by cutting off the end of the lasgun just in front of the site and take the lasgun assembly off of the ball joint that comes in the chimera. Cut off the energy cell from the bottom of the lasgun and replace it with a clip from a bolter and there you go, an AK-47 style lasgun.



Next up are just a couple of figures I was messing around with just to do something a bit different from my normal Imperial Guard. It is the commander from the Assault on Black Reach box set and a Terminator converted with an assault cannon. For the most part they were just an exercises in painting yellow.
